Abby is a painter in Brooklyn working primarily with water- based and oil mediums.

Drawing on a multitude of references, DeShazo creates compositions that represent, reframe and intertwine the complexity of her past and current emotional experiences. Born in Los Angeles, but now in Brooklyn NY, her work reflects a blending of life at – and between – both coasts with a focus on individuals who evoke a unique, and often constant, cathexis in her.
